BOSS Champs is a hip hop hybrid, who originates from Jamaica. His sound is a mixture of lyricism, storytelling, unique production, universal subject matter, Caribbean & International influence.

Nicholas East (as he was born) began writing songs at the age of 11. He’s dabbed in a few different fields of creativity such as acting, modeling, writing, hosting, poetry, comedy, and improv under the stage name Nico East. His call back to music came after working on a $16M film budget as producer, actor, writer, and soundtrack director. This independent film project involved several Academy Award winning and nominated talent, but was ultimately shelved. This sparked Champs’ passion for the creative process of music, and he has decided to hit that pedal ever since. Now, his attention and creativity evolves into his musical artistry.

BOSS Champs is the anti-rapper. Not afraid to incorporate unique sounds, voices, beats, and song material that traditional artists wouldn’t dare. This is what separates him from the “insiders”. He inspires fans to think outside of the box they’re constantly presented and BOSS! Being Original Sparks Success!
