So.. I visited clutterfunk again to extract some drum-samples, but I staid to play around. And this happened.
I am really happy with the results! I spent a long time polishing this. Hope you like what you hear ~

So this is a cover of "This Charming Man" by The Smiths done in the style of Super Mario Bros.. I'm planning on doing a video as soon as I can figure out how to work with Flash. The sound effects are only there to help the listener visualize the "game". I'm looking to do other 80s songs in this style as well (with accompanying videos). Enjoy!

So this one is a version of "Come on Eileen" done in the style of Pac Man (with another game thrown in. try to guess which one :))

1982 was a very good year for me. I was 10, thoroughly addicted to videogames & I fell in love for the first time with a girl I met at summer camp. This song (and game) was the soundtrack to that summer. I still think of her every time I hear it :). Hope you enjoy this one! More to come!
