TASK

By no means an exhaustive list, I wanted to capture some of the music that really flicked my switch during 2012. Trying to make sense of all these different electronic styles armed only with Serato was a challenge in itself, as the selection ranges from around 115BPM up to around 160BPM. The mix launches with some slow house music (Justin Martin, JETS etc., building the BPMs to accomodate techno, through to garage/bassline (Wiley, Shadow Child, Squarehead) before veering into dubstep territory (Eprom, Desto) into 150BPM things (ARP. 101, Machinedrum, Distal etc.) finishing with Chrissy Murderbot's nod to old skool jungle with his remix of Machinedrum's U Don't Survive. A very satisfactory round up of some awesome music that was released in 2012, however, there were many notable omissions... 

Now to look forward to what 2013 has in store.... X
