Through shards of frozen soundscapes, BOSS006 defrosts the Stockholm sound with the BM debut of Kalawila, whose ample use of sparse building techniques creates a rigid and tight groove structure. This subtle-yet-attitude fueled two tracker is what’s up in 2016, especially in the Bossmusik hometown of Stockholm: the extended A-side grasps intelligence while swiftly pushing forward. As for the flipside, this intergalactic adventure shares tight resemblance to the mystery-unknown atmosphere of Bossmusik’s sonic universe, and sums up this little bomb in a clever and rewarding way… watch out!
