This is an unfinished beat I made for a solo EP I never finished. It's in early stages but the vibe is there. It's was meant to have vocal skits for each chorus, in the style of the old chapter plays like Superman or Flash Gordon.
"Two feline superheroes are in the CatCave when an urgent spray comes in that an old nemesis to SuperTuey, FleaMan, has escaped the Sanctuary! He's taken his flea minions to nearby kennel and threatens to infest all the German Shephards on site...can SuperTuey and MegaFred make it in time to stop him?"
I know...it's ridiculous...which is the point!!
Also, even though all the drums in this beat sound like sampled loops, they're actually one shots that I constructed from scratch...i think they sound seamless...what do you think?

Barging and Rapping in one track...never been done...and still hasn't been done yet because this is another unfinished track.
Beats partly done, and my mate Dan pulled a few riffs out of the bag and chucked them on.
Would have been rapped in my native Hereford accent for authenticity...might still do this one day.
Think of the outro as an old scholl hiphop track from the 80s (I had Melle Mel in mind)..." Pump the Bilge, Pump  pump the Bilge..."

Simple hip hop beat for chunky rhymes...would have layered a lot more sounds after the vocas were done (lots of uniwue sound fx me thinks).

This was one of two tracks I recorded with SlicerMan around 2001/2002. Planned to write more to record with him for an EP but never came to fruition. But, a juicy tune was left in that wake, featuring my old partner in rhyme from Clinical Dazz, Ramon (The BeeKeeper) aka Lord Ludicrous.
Wrote the track on the coach on the way down to Wales to see Slicer...recorded it in the early hours of the morning. Stonking!!
This is my vibe this tune...reminiscent of the positive East Coast HipHop of the early to mid nineties. Loving Slicerman's beat on this (as ever!). And, this is an updated beat with sound effects (not sure when you did it Slice...let me know and I'll chuck a date on) and it now sounds meatier than ever...press play if you dare to partake in the Barber Shop War!!!!!

This was one of two tracks I recorded with SlicerMan around 2001/2002. Planned to write more to record with him for an EP but never came to fruition.
I'm very proud of this one. Slicer's beat is mean, dark, smooth and is everything you want in a good rhyming track. It's moodiness gave me the atmos I needed to get this one right, and it sticks in your head for eons. But the one reason I'm really proud of it is because I'm doing something a little different, a sort of vocal commentary throughout that happens to rhyme when it's needed instead of a standard rap. A new style for me at the time, and it shaped how I did tracks moving forward.
It's a about a gameshow in my mind. I'm the host, and the contestant and each round presents a different element of my persona, except for the last maverick round where the world is introduced to everybody's imaginary friend and the creator of nightmares, Percy Hardcore (a northern, wonky, gremlinesque equivalent of Freddy Krueger!!).
