This mashup was made specifically for two incidents that occurred over a single weekend years ago. The first was when Christina Grimmie, a rising star in both YouTube and The Voice stardom, was killed at a meet-and-greet from a "fan" trying to "give her a hug". The other incident was when a man went into a club and shot 100, killing half of them. Due to the empathy and anger I had at the time, I made this mashup with the intention of spreading awareness.

MESSAGE FROM MY FORMER SELF:

"...Why?

This mashup is not for views and not for recognition; this mashup is for the **** that goes on in this world stops one and for all. We can't help that there are lifeless **** out there who have intentions to kill people for no good reason or reason at all, but we can help to do something about it, which for some damn reason we show minimum result or none at all. As you can see I am so emotional right now of these tragedies; so many peoples' family members and best friends are lost because of jealousy or downright hate.

It's not worth it to hurt people. It's not worth it to be stupid and mean to others. And it's not worth it to kill. Stop the madness; stop the violence. Be nice to one another. Share with one another. Love one another on this God-made earth that's somehow turned into an unnecessary battlefield. This mashup/song says it all. We need a little more love and a little more hope. And that's what this world needs as well."

Even though I am not proud of my language back then, I am still adamant that cold-blooded murder should not be justified for any reason. Love and treat everyone as you'd love and treat yourself. God bless 🙏🏾
