I don’t remember anything of what happened last night. 
I’ve been at this rave at Cerulean Gym and drunk a couple of “Secret Potions” and then I don’t remember anything else…

This song contained Jet Set Radio/Sonic Rush samples from "Oldies But Happies", "The Concept of Love", "Yappie Feet", "Like It Like This Like That", "Shape Da Future" and "Let Mom Sleep". The main sample is, of course, dervied from Kurtis Blow's "The Breaks". Other samples used came from samples from a single song file, basically from what real-life DJs use to use numerous samples to scratch from.

I also hid two samples in this piece that no one noticed. An Incineroar voice clip of him exclaiming, "Yeah!", from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and a Beastie Boys ad lib from "Body Movin'", the song I sampled to make "The Sound" for King For A Day. These two hints let you know exactly who made this song. But there has been speculation that, during the choruses, I used the Phoenix Wright gavel sound, when in fact, it was just a regular vocal chant. Sorry to disappoint you guys who thought otherwise. 😂

I was one of the ones who volunteered to make a dual rip of the finalists. Little did I know, Mariya's "September" seemed to be sort of a wild card, since everyone was pleasantly surprised to hear it. As of now, "Fall Breaks" happens to be my best rip of all time as a SiIvaGunner ripper, garnishing over 110,000 views, a feat I am absolutely proud of. This is also a rip I'm proud to announce I applied my trademark DJ Hero-style producing, which I wanted to do for at least one of the pieces I submitted. Being this was kind of a roll call for the contest, I'm glad I ended it with a great note.

Fall Breaks

One of my very few experiments using Ableton on my (very) old laptop, and I must say, not so bad. I've always wanted to see how these two tunes sound when combined so in the end I convinced myself to do it.
