Jordan Christoff is one half of the inspiring and prolific duo PJS (with musical partner Patrick Dique). Here Jordan stretches out with another breathtaking new age document of time and place: a deep listening long-form piece in 2 parts. A true sound explorer, committed to his idiosyncratic vision, he is also engaged in supporting struggles for indigenous emancipation from colonialism, as a resident of Lekwungen territory where this album was made.

Over the last few years Jordan has released on labels worldwide including Leaving Records, No Problema Tapes, Muzan Editions, Plus100 and his recent solo outing on Constellation Tatsu. London's Salmon Universe is excited to be the home for his latest expansive work 'Water'. Water is an apt metaphor for his sound, an ever-flowing evolving amorphous yet still landscape, equally and sensitively represented by the cover artwork of Texas resident Nicholas Law.

Jordan is on a mission to dissolve the barrier between reality and the metaphysical plane. He intends to open the doors of his creative self and let his life force do the talking. His music is like air, but also like water - the connecting viscera of everything.

Alexa D Saster is a dj, musician and crossover artist based in Berlin. 

She's spinning her mild but powerful, genre-crossing dj-sets in Berlin's subculture spots and elsewhere in Germany and Europe. Her music collection is based on underground-dance-music, friend's releases and unheard rarities. 

As a guitarist and singer, Alexa plays in different formations as well as in her solo-projects, where she combines electronic sounds with vocals and electric-guitar. Alexa works with loops and effects and creates a smooth, nearly cineastic atmosphere.

Zümrüt aka Ich bin Müde was born in Istanbul. She studied Sociology and Film Studies. She is a filmmaker, photographer, stand up comedian and DJ now based in Berlin. Interested in the best of every genre, she plays Synth-pop, New wave, Electro, EBM, Industrial, Cosmic, Left field, rare disco, Porn disco, Post Punk, Reggae Pop, Art rock etc.

It is so interesting that periods suddenly come in life that seem to completely format the space around, charging it with sparks of a much needed, sometimes scorching experience...It's what happened with me...

I live in a small, lost on maps town, called OM, surrounded by the sea on one side and vast forests, pierced like a circulatory system by the veins of rivers on the other...Someone says that OM exists, while others have never even heard of such a place...Imagine, there is such a story that somewhere 50 years ago, in newspapers you can find articles proving the non-existence of this city, and then, apparently, the same wise men refuted these strange theories...

Everything in my life was moving in a measured way, following the vector of an illusory game of stability imposed from childhood...It's absurd in a constantly changing world, but everything looks so serious...It felt like a wall was built around this place, hiding the flow of time of the surrounding world, isolating us from ourselves... This contributed to one degree or another to the acquired indifference to many manifestations of human qualities that are inherent in the original embodiment of our species...But, to my pleasure, the space around me moved against my tyrannical expectations, constancy and non-interference in life...And, you know,  it definitely had more plans for me...

I vaguely remember exactly when, but at some point, thanks to the results of this external movement, I was able to see things as they are, observing everything from the outside, without interfering with the processes...It's as if every time you take a step into the abyss, in an attempt to find out what is there - in the dark matter of this eternal radiance?

All these transformations undoubtedly caused waves of protest and a desire to escape to my shelter - a huge Fossil...It is likely that for many millions of years it has been hiding from outsiders, but opens up to those who are ready to dissolve in musical form, in poetry supported by the voices of instruments...There, an understanding comes to me that rhythms are cyclical, like ebb and flow, and compositions, with proper immersion in them, no longer contain sharpness and do not allow the listener to be taken by surprise...You can also say that all this is the result of the desire to put the clocks on the dial down...

Emil Mirzoev is a selector, vinyl collector and resident at the Moscow based independent radio station - New New World Radio. Fesikl aka Felix Mikensky is an experimental/plunderphonic musician. He is half of the free tanz electronic duo DroJJi and a member of the free jazz/punk band Brom. Their mix for Metamorphosen is a 90 minute sound collage, performed by you in the exhibition "Re/define", which thematized the artistic practice of mixing and redefining everyday objects. In their performance Emill & Fesikl transfer this kind of artistic strategy into the djing of music. Celebrating the seemingly  minimal intervention of layering sound tracks and the use of effects devices to the full utilization of its creative possibilities. The result is more likely an artifact of this conceptual process of action and not so much a purely musical set like we usually present to you.
But don't panic dear. Because, like all kinds of music and all human actions, this particular one has also just something to do with imagination and discipline at the same time. So, let's go!
