A World in Her Eyes was written after a child who had cancer joined the youth soccer program I helped coach at our local YMCA. She told me she knew she was very sick and wouldn't be able to make it through the entire season, but said it was ok, because she always had the whole world with her. All she had to do was shut her eyes. A World in Her Eyes has parts for cello and piano.

Dawnstorm was written based on an experience I had after I woke up at about 4 am one day. I went outside and found a hill to sit on and watched the sunrise as a storm began. Dawnstorm has parts for piano, cello, electric bass, and percussion.
