LA's hard groove maverick & Perfect Dark label boss Freeman 713 has his way with "Frequency Theory", recontextualizing the vision with some hypnotic yet frantic percussion. Lil Art Hoe strips it all back with a shroomy cerebral approach, edging on ceremonial.

CarrieOnDisco provides us with a proper Sleaze mix to bring us into the morning hours. Carrie is a beloved DJ hailing from England but has been turning the party in San Francisco (and around the country) for years. For the uninitiated, Sleaze or “morning music” is a style of DJing  perfected in New York, SF, and Fire Island that features slower, lilting tunes with romantic lyrics that act as an encore to a night of nonstop dancing. Carrie crafts a nearly four hour masterclass in the slower side of disco, soul, and psychedelia that eases us from night into day. Whether this music is the perfect come down before bed or the soundtrack for a new lover you brought home for Sunday service, Carrie delivers a powerhouse finale to our night at the Sound Baths.
