Bottomless Coffee Band is a multi-instrumentalists Folk-Rock duo from Cape Town, South Africa

Lourens and Esté Rabé started the BCB in August 2010 whilst still two young students dreaming of life in the music industry. Today, we are partners in music & also in marriage.

Our style is a combination of acoustic folk rock and afro-blues - we call it gourmet music. It describes our vision for our music: to produce an organic sound that’s true to us. We believe being part of the music industry is a calling - it’s like a gift from above, given to pursue and to inspire. Therefore we use our music wherever we are to inspire good times, hope, love and change.

We currently play eight instruments between the two and continue to add more - this provides a unique sound and visual setup & helps to create the sound of a full band. Instruments include: foot drums, acoustic and electric guitar, banjo, acoustic bass, accordion, ukulele, harmonica and various percussion instruments.
