Interesting composition and really impressive to try this with Reasynth. To me some sounds are a bit too distorted.

Interesting track but I think you need to look at your mix as to me there was way too much clipping of sounds.

I love that someone else besides me used Reasynth, and I love that you proved that Reasynth is far from useless. Well done!

Had you started with this and kept evolving this, you'd have won me over right away. The rest is just a bit too "broken" for me, but lots of potential for sure.

I wish there was more pure synth stuff like this in OSC and less obvious edm and synthpop. full marks from me!

Very cool! For some reason probably due to my strange brain, I'm getting some Flying Lotus vibes from this track. Great stuff.

Here is my submission to OSC No. 167. I wanted to stick to Reaper, and drafted ideas for both Complex X Filter Synth & Yutani Mono Bass Synth (Saike). But both those options proved too CPU intensive for my PC. Switched to **ReaSynth** to see what I could do with it! The piece basically done during 4 hr flight to Perth, minus some additional ear candy + mastering.

Morfoid 7 (OSC167 ReaSynth)

For this track I used 11 instances of a wonderful synth named Thorn by Dmitry Sches (DS Audio). All modulations of the parameters have been done live by making use of aftertouch and/or the modulation wheel. So no automations other than some volume changes here and there. In a studio setting, I think this makes the music nice and organic. Of course, a DJ on stage always does this. 

The title “Anemoia” is referring to the phenomenon of feeling nostalgic to a time or place that one has not experienced before...

This month's one synth effort is brought to your long suffering ears by Audible Genius' Primer 2. Featuring the events of three and a bit minutes in the life of a nicely dressed bee by the name of Johnnie. He's judged by his peers to be 'quite good'. Listen in awe as he leaves the hive, flies round a bit, dodging the birds, and settles on a few flowers before flying off home for a well deserved rest.

This month it fell to Tracktion's Waveform Pro 13 for DAW duties along with ten instances of Primer 2. Layering: I've heard of it... Also featuring the following plugins:

- dpMeter5, Blue Cat Audio Gain3 and KClip Zero on clip to zero as always
- AudioModern Panflow
- Tracktion TReverber8
- NI Raum
- no instances of Valhalla Supermassive
- TDR Nova and Kotelnikov for mastering along with another KClip Zero to keep it all in check

MIDI for one of the arps was recorded from Pitch Innovations Eternal Arps. Patches are a mix of Init based and a few from the rather marvellous random buttons.

Factory Tour

The gremlins in Negoba's studio decided to steal snippets of his previous OSC's to create a monster destined to confound and disgust all listeners. Unbeknownst to them, their creation (Jenkins) instead prefers cuddles and long walks on the beach.

All sounds created using Odin2 Softsynth by Wave Warden for KVR OSC #197.

Mix of stock presets, tweaked presets, and init. Shout back a bit to a previous track where I used Odin on an open round. I think I’ve learned a little since then.

This month was a real challenge!

When I looked at Odin, I came up with the idea of a true One (!) Synth Challenge – just a single instance, no excuses.
I dove deep into sound design and quickly realized: this would become a real borderline experience.

While endlessly tweaking, I kept discovering new sonic paths – sometimes inspiring, sometimes frustrating.
Odin could be pretty temperamental when dealing with MIDI, but in the end, I managed to shape something that feels raw, tense, and expressive.

So here it is: Grenzerfahrung (borderline experience) –
a track born from limitation, chaos, and way too many hours. ;)
