Toy Tonics‘ prime ethos is to create new forms of (dance) music, but we also release limited edition t-shirts, posters and organise the Toy Tonics Jams.

THE SOUND OF TOY TONICS connects different genres to create a new emotional (dance) sound. Influenced 
by indie disco, house music, neo soul, new wave, funk and more .
We combine organic sounds with electronic production. DJ culture with analogue (band) elements.

THE TOY TONICS JAMS
Since 2019 we organize the Toy Tonics Jams to spread our Toy Tonics style and vibe. They strated in Berion 2019 and since 2022 they take place all over Europe.
In clubs like Panorama Bar (Berlin), 
Phonox (London), Rex (Paris) and at festivals like Kala, Melt Festival (Berlin), Montreux Jazz 
Festival, Calvi on the Rocks a.o.

Afro DJ/promoter based in The Netherlands. Austin-J was born and raised in Wakanda. Developed love for djing at a young age when he moved over to Europe. Popularly known for his waist breaking Afro sounds, delivery and versatility on decks. There is never a dull moment whenever he is performing. His unique sounds and style has taken him to so many venues, clubs and festivals in The Netherlands and across Europe. It is safe to say that he is one of the best Afro dj out there. MOTTO: Be yourself, enjoy life and feel the rhythms from the motherlands.

Satoshi Tomiie has been a pioneering and driving force within the global electronic music community since the early days of house music. Now, decades after his ‘Tears’ alongside Frankie Knuckles, the Japanese born, New York and based DJ, producer, remixer and label boss is still regular feature in the sets of many of today’s underground elite.
A student of jazz and classical piano, Satoshi is musically adept and accomplished producer who constantly evolved how he works. Experimenting with a new hybrid Modular DJ setup which sees him effortlessly fuse live analogue modular synthesis and with traditional DJ sets. Regularly playing clubs such as DC10, Rex and from South America to Tokyo while releasing music on labels such as YoY, Yoyakuza, Kaoz Theory, No19, MFR, Holic, and his own Abstract Architecture. Satoshi is as relevant as ever and continues to make waves throughout the electronic music community as only he knows how.

Patrick Van Kerckhoven is considered to be one of the founding father’s of the hardcore sound. He is specifically responsible for initiating the creation of a sub genre of hardcore that became known as “Artcore”.

Inspired by the House Music coming from Chicago and Detroit, he began his musical career at just 15 years old performing at various clubs around Holland. Most of Europe had not yet been exposed to House, let alone any form of Hardcore. Patrick kept pushing the Hardcore sound throughout the 80′s and 90′s, producing hits such as “Mindcontroller”.

In lieu of his DJ and Producing successes, van Kerckhoven started his own record label “Ruffneck Records” in 1993. This label released over 250 tracks including several major hits such as “Ruffneck Rules Da Artcore Scene” which even managed to hit the European music charts at number 8. After a brief stint making Drum and Bass music with his label “Ruff-teck”, van Kerckhoven continued to craft and create new hardcore sounds.

Around 2000 he launched labels “Supreme Intelligence” and “Gangsta Audiovisuals” which concentrated on the newly invented “Darkcore” and “Artcore” styles respectively.

After many ups and downs within the Hardcore scene, he created Enzyme Records in 2001 to make a fresh start. Patrick did all of the work behind the scenes, in order for his roster of artists to grow and gain popularity without having to worry about any of the stigma attached to his earlier projects. Patrick managed to fool the hierarchy of Hardcore and the entire music scene into thinking that he had retired. The truth was that he was busy at work the whole time managing and creating for Enzyme records and it’s many infamous sister labels such as “Enzyme X”.

Currently Patrick runs several of his own record labels that are prominent in various genres like Hardcore, Hardstyle, Industrial and Hard Techno. These musical elements as well as those that cannot be described are all pieces of the unique puzzle that makes up Patrick Van Kerckhoven and his musical vision.

Born in Paris, Nyamecmplx is a DJ with Ghanaian roots based in the Netherlands. As a fond music lover active in the corporate world of Tech/HR she decided to look for a way to get into DJ'ing in her spare time.
As a child she remembers her parents dragging her to every get-together possible. These events were well known for good food, but most important to her then and now; Music. Ghanaian Hip- and Highlife always remind her of the sense of community these parties brought her.
Nowadays Nyamecmplx career is kicking off the right way. She has already played sets at Chocolate City, STEWWW & De Achtertuin. She is keen on getting to know her audience and intends to keep on entertaining us with what reminds her of home. A beautiful blend of Highlife, Amapiano, Afrobeats, Hip-life, and more.
