We were parked in a lay-by between Shillington and Hexton,
Girls were dancing round the fire,
Dogs were howling at the moon.
I saw settlers in the distance,
Showing us there resistance,

Most of the people I admire own hardly anything at all.
Herbs and plants for medication and daily meditation.

Well we’ll park up on the Heath because the land belongs to no one,
And we’ll convoy as a family and travel through the night.
Section 21s and 22s, the government’s way to make us move,
But my friends we are going no where!

We’ll the stars look really pretty when your outside the city,
And some times it’s nitty gritty,
But most the time we have a laugh,
Living life on the road,
We were born for no fixed abode,

Now we’ve read what all the papers say,
They turned up here the other day,
And now it’s like they’re here to stay
In my sweet conurbation!
They’re living out their lives in lies,
We’re sure to see that crime rate rise,
Our blessed housing market does
Due to their deprivation!

Their charm and swagger no one buys,
Because the papers make us wise.

A stylistically unique Band from day one! The members of BOUJI MOTHER FUCKERS, consisting of Messe Mee (beat boxer and rapper) and Chexx (guitarist and vocalist), have been singing, performing, and playing their collective mix of heavy beat box baselines , flamenco and gypsy jazz guitar, while singing and mc'ing lyrics about life on the road and other shenanigans...

Throughout the course of the group’s collaboration, they have won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life and across genres. While performing at a variety of venues and making countless public appearances, their captivating, high-energy concerts have earned them an ever-growing fan base.Having recently formed towards the end of 2021, life has been a mad maelstrom of tragedy and wonder. Van life and what it means to be a “hippy” becoming even more tenuous…let’s write a song about it and have a little dance shall we?
