The first Boulder Radio episode is a 4+ hour recording of Remco's all vinyl set, recorded at the closing of Club Monk. The set includes classics from the likes of Goldie, Roni Size & Adam F, mixed together with contemporaries such as Tim Reaper: "The layout of the Club was inspired by the spot where it all started for us 20 years ago -- a warehouse in Eindhoven where we built our first walls, climbed, and listened to drum & bass music."

Before moving to Eindhoven, Embla, also known as Eva van der Born, worked in a record shop in Leiden. It was there that she started to develop her passion for warm and soulful Detroit-influenced house and techno, drum & bass, and progressive sounds. 

Embla had been a regular visitor at Monk Eindhoven for some time when she responded to Monk's open call for LOCO DJs. She kicked off LOCO #2 with her music selections and returned a few weeks later on a busy Sunday.
