Guilty Pleasures Singalong Vol 1

Sharing my set from the cheeky dance floor we created in the Delicious kitchen of Relish on the early hours of Saturday morning.  It was a real pleasure to come together with such a great bunch to celebrate after what has been a whirlwind of a summer.  And turns out this set captures many tracks special to me over the past few months 💛 some groovy some moody and described by many as 'chill not chill', which is right up my alley!

Big love and thank you to all of you relish family for welcoming me so warmly, it’s been a real treat creating these memories with you!

Relish Festival 2023 - 'Chill not chill' in the Delicious Kitchen Saturday 2am

On Saturday, as the torrential rain receded and the playa dried, we gathered with our Tokyo Sector neighbors for a night of muddy music at the Scarab art car...  I brought a fresh update to my favorite summer set, specifically designed for this amazing car's earth- and booty-shaking bass. Turn it up!

Live on the Scarab art car, Burning Man 2023

This is the first set I recorded on Sunday night during Burning Man 2023 at the cactus art piece until we were rudely interrupted by another art car. It's a mix of disco, true house music, bass house, latin house, and everything in between. So get dusty and enjoy!

Burning Man. The hardest place on earth and yet at the same time somehow the most amazing place on earth. I must have had a little magic playa dust in my pocket on Saturday as I somehow found myself DJing on the beloved Axolotl (BRC’s favorite flaming amphibian on wheels) from the moment the car left camp at 5:15 pm through sunset into the night, whilst parked at the Man on burn night, until YROC took over just before 9:00 pm.  Hands down one of the best experiences of my life and by far the best DJ experience of my life and thus the set absolutely needed to be re-created as it wasn’t captured live.  Thank you to everyone who had a hand in slightly tilting the universe in my favor that day, particularly my favorite three gals on earth, YROC, Jim, Preston, and all the beautiful people at Camp AXO.

What to say…Besides being grateful to be asked to share space and time to partake in celebrating this wonderful lady. The event was exactly how i imagined it would be and more, a true marathon bender with all of the lovely characters you'd like to see when you embark on such an adventure. When @mira_kater invited me to play it, you betcha i was coming in from wherever! And it did not disappoint, my only regret is that i wish i would have planned my stamina better, since i wish i could have stayed for the whole event.  I hope you enjoy this recording as much as i enjoyed being there. Much love and thanks Mira of the invitation.
