'Aphasia' 

I'm spinning in circles. I can't stop starting over. It's a vicious game I play, where nothing really seems to matter. Every song I wrote I cannot remember. I will mark this down, and forget about it all tomorrow. I'm thinking to myself, "I'll never be like my elders." Just lying on a couch and freaking out about the weather. It's time for me to break this family tradition, go out on a limb to find what I've been missing. Survival, it's so honest. Maybe I'll make you proud, staring down a screaming crowd. I hope I slowly drown. I got no friends, punk is dead and I'm lost in the sound. 

Aphasia

Down below the carpet store. Getting drunk and stressing out. Now and then I'll stumble on a memory and write it down, to try and make something right. Let the sun go down anyway; Let the world fade out. Stop trying to sound cool. Let's shovel out these winter blues. Polish off these dusty strings, lock the door and settle in. These chords become a part of us.
