Tranquille

The 12 Valkyries are figures from the Nordic mythology - they collect the slain heroes from the battlefield and bring them to "Valhalla", the "holy hall".
Pianist Carlos Márquez (https://soundcloud.com/cmdigital) was so kind to play some of them - enjoy his breathtaking interpretations!!
Eventually we will also release a Valkyrie album in the future.

The whole series is devoted to Isabella, my little Valkyrie...

Nick Sherman
Nick was born in Sioux Lookout, ON, December 10, 1984. During Elementary School he was sent between Weagamow Lake First Nation, ON; North Caribou Lake trapline, ON; and Sioux Lookout, ON to attend school. Eventually residing in in Sioux Lookout, ON permanently.
Nick released his debut, full-length album entitled ‘Drag Your Words Through’ on January 20th with funding from The Ontario Arts Council. The album is stacked with musical guests from Thunder Bay. The sentiments of the album are broad as the songs cover the best and worst days of the last 4 years. His songs are earnest and thoughtful rooted in a contemporary-folk sound. Nick plays most shows as a solo act unless joined by invited guest who play under the name ‘The Winterdark'.
