Welcome to the Good Love symphony of Cosmic Yum! This is a delicious collaboration of musicians and producers, spanning time, space and sound, for the enjoyment of all beings! 

This original cosmic journey begins with a big bang of ideas that travelled through many dimensions with genuine intentions of love and goodness before discovering the vocal bliss of Nada- Leigh Nasser. The original was launched featuring the groove frequencies of Captain Vibe on bass and guitar and complimented by Bongo Loco and Timewarp inc on keys. 

Travelling to a nearby star, the original was embellished and remixed by Omegaman, transforming the track into a multiverse of doof dub reggae. Folding the fabric of sound, Tom Drummond masterfully recomposes the track with a lush tropical pan drum funk remix. The track then traverses to the planet of Jayl Funk, who lays down his quantum funky breakbeat remix to get fingers snapping and toes tapping. Meanwhile, back on Earth, Mind Electric's club disco remix is waiting to launch...

The Forty Five Kings Collective Present Malong for our 110th Member Mix!!!

Malong is from Panama and is part of the Asymetrics (https://soundcloud.com/the-asymetrics).

The focus of this mix is Funk, Soul & R&B infused tunes recorded in Panama in the mid 60s-70s. 

Some are local compositions, sometimes with a hint of Caribbean or Latin flavor and some are straight up covers or adaptations from artists like James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Cymande, Gene Chandler, Nicola Bari & Mighty Sparrow.

Recorded live at "El Cangrejo Radio", a new spot in Panama City which serves as a bar/club/radio station and is ran by my partner Kamarita and a few other good friends!

It's a very simple selection, as I was keen on enjoying the tunes and listening. 

I threw in a couple of amazing represses but many of the tunes are OG and hard to find, and often were found in seriously dusty crates so apologies for the crackles LOL ! I'm just glad I managed to find these gems here, including plenty that are fabulous but still under the radar.
