In The Time of our lives (demo - Iron butterfly treatment)

It was the track that I wrote back in 2011 As a response to a songwriting contest which I had no intention of￼￼ ￼ entering. I took it as a challenge. The caveat was I was writing about Psalm 1. I pumped through several translation engines he crossed dozens of languages to reach translate back to English. As you can imagine the results were both profound and sometimes ridiculously humorous! The last process was to edit it down to where it made sense. I was in a sort of whiter Shade of pale meets Bach Air. This is basically a song and I just did a recalled version of it the other night. The earlier demos were probably more solid. However I thought this was rather cool and it’s rough form! ￼￼￼￼￼￼￼￼￼￼￼￼￼￼

Fred & Cessi

This is a track from 2010/11 in pre production (Demo) form. It did not make the cut for my 2012 album "GuitarViol" on Lakeshore records. Never completed, I like how I feel when listening to it. I'll keep this track up for a few days. It reminds me of what I was going for once upon a time before the rigors of running a craft GuitarViol business took all my my energy and time. I used to enjoy playing guitar (a lot). Perhaps I'll get back into some again? LOL. I'll take this life though! ;) Maybe I'll put together another live rig and play self contained stuff? Who knows? It has been a while. Hope you like it.

What you are hearing is a prototype TogaMan solid body electric guitar (short scale designed for ergonomic comfort while sitting long hours at a DAW (ProTools) or in general. The initial track was a pass in stereo (bridge "acoustic" pickup on one track and Magnetic pickup on the other). A mono lead track was added to get a sense of lightly over driven tones.

Jonathan Eric Wilson is the creator of the TogaMan GuitarViol (a bowed guitar, viola-guitar hybrid heard in many movie scores, TV, Video games.) Some examples of the GuitarViol's  use in Film include 300, the Black Swan,  Clash of the Titans, TV's True Blood, CSI Miami, CSI New York, and Video games such as Medal of Honor and Borderlands (Borderlands features Jonathan himself playing the GuitarViol). He has a solo album out on Lakeshore Records and is now developing a Psychedelic Rock project called "Liquid Light Brigade"
