Mother

Just finished recording this rough draft of the Lay of Nimrodel in mono with the computer's built-in mic. There will eventually be a studio version with a good guitar and my brother Devin's voice taking over several verses. The whistled section is one of them.
The first few minutes came to me very easily almost twenty years ago but all my attempts at finishing it had been futile until last week. It was a sweeping saga of a lyric and I had to dive deep to try and do it justice.
I feel happy! Hope you like it and remember Middle Earth as you listen.
