'Makes Me Want' by Hot Pot is your ultimate party starter. When this song comes on at a venue I guarantee it will drastically change the energy of the room from a 4 to a 10. With Hot Pot's bangin' drums and growling bassline, this track becomes a dark high energy crowd mover.
Hot Pot debuted on our label for the first time back in June with his remix of 'Coconuts' by Not Not. We are grateful to have him back with more releases in the future as an Artichokes Are Yellow artist.

MAP is joining our label for the first time with a vocal-heavy, deep-tech house banger. 'One & Only' is a hypnotic house track with catchy lyrics and bouncy textural aspects. The vocal line is accompanied by a moving bass and melodic ear candy which creates a groove that will get stuck in your head.
MAP is composed of three Canadian-based individuals who grew from playing gigs in their hometown of Winnipeg, known for their bouncy beats and original vocals.


Rob Marion is also joining our label for the first time with a unique tech acid track called 'FLiP'. 'FLiP' is an automatic head turner with its bouncy pitch bends and melodic acid line. The contrast between the moving bass line and the acid line on top creates a low-end harmony with each other. This high-energy track is bound to get a room dancing upon entrance.
Rob Marion is a Los Angeles-based producer with releases on labels like Box Of Cats and Discovery Project.

Last but not least, Emuh returns to our label with a wonky harmonic tech house track, 'Can't Sleep, Makin' Beats'. Emuh first joined our label with a remix of 'Cozy' by Longstocking. He is coming back with a very different vibe with his harmonic top notes, acid bass, and original vocals. The contrast between the E and F notes on top of the melodic bassline creates this sort of early 2000's hip-hop tech house feel. Emuh's original vocals perfectly collide in time with the rhythmical ear candy and harmonic aspect of the bass. This unique acid tech house track is a perfect early-morning crowd-pleaser.

Hot Pot - Makes Me Want [OUT NOW]

Sunday mornings can be a bit rough, especially if you spend your weekends dancing until the early hours of the morning like we do. That's why you need a constant drip of hydrating music to get you through the next day, hence why we stay so constant with the music we put out. It's for you as much as it is for us.

This week (in drip form) we bring you B&E! These two have been on the grind for quite some time and their production shows it. Without complicating things, they have been able to craft two - and don't chin stroke us out of the room - 'techno bangers'. Not Alone is your straight up big room shit. Big kick, slamming bass and just enough vocals to keep the dance floor sweating. 'The Other' track is a deep cheeky cut featuring mind-bending synths and deep chords escorting you through the different chapters with ease, making this the perfect afterparty record.

Lil Lunchtime Sesh 2-17-23

Every now and then you get sent a track which negates the need for a funny writeup. Sometimes we just need to step back and let the music do the talking, and this record makes us feel that way. 

Contribe has come through with an absolute SLAPPER of a record with El Rey! With as many syllables as it has hi-hats, it’s hard to imagine a dance floor this record wouldn’t work on. We can really see it fitting into some 'overly cool European DJ' sets, but work just as well on the shores of Florida with some button up party shirts. No pointing fingers :P 

The flip La Reina, is time to take a deep breathe, find your spot and stick there for the next 5 minutes. Weaving in and out of Amazonian flutes and insects, this gives us all the feels. It’s Summer somewhere in the world, right? 

These two records really capture what Contribe does best, and that’s locking the groove and keeping hold of you. These ones have a long shelf-life!

Slayer of skies, ruler of all, the king of kings is back yet again! One of our favourite and most exciting producers on Box of Cats, it is Ekoboy! 

His quirky charm and dad bod have really worked over time to refine these two new cuts. The a-side 'Yagea' is something straight out of Kazakhstan. Middle eastern strings, infectious percussion and I relentless vocal loop thats as mysterious as it is catchy. 

There isn't a day that goes by that we aren't excited to hear new Ekoboy music. Today is no different!

Hot Pot is back with a bangin' EP. A collab with us, Two Tails, and a solo heavy hitter track disguised as a B side. This EP is just a taste of what is to come from Hot Pot in 2023, keep your ears open.
Coke and Juuls is a soft tech house groover with melodic vocals and heavy-hitting bass that will shake a room. Hopefully not shake a room too much, don't have your trim up so GD high folks, god, what are you doing.
Don't Go To Sleep is exactly what it sounds like, you ain't gonna be sleeping on this track because it will be to fire for shut-eye. Don't Go To Sleep is a classic Hot Pot heater with heavy-hitting bass and snare that highlights Hot Pot's original vocals and airy synth sounds. Studies show that Hot Pot's wife was super stoked that he was working on these vocals at 4 am after not sleeping for 24 hours.
