We've got a round of debutants on our imprint on this instance of Dimes. That doesn't mean these are sixes. No, no, keeping in line with the name and the concept of this sampler, so these, again, are perfect tens. 

Making his debut on the label is Fab Massimo. The crafty German has enjoyed a successful 2021, with releases on Terminal Underground, Low Ceiling and Get Twisted. 'Oh Boi' is a cool hard-hitting track that delivers the goods. SageThaCat delivers a hypnotic track with 'You Make Me', really does make us want to dance, and it will do the same to you. We are one hundred percent certain of that. 

Groove Cartel blesses the sampler with a dense, energy-rich track with a low end that will blow the Rona-dust right off your speakers, whilst Govan Jones, who collaborated with label boss Mike McFly on 'Hook That Line' rounds this perfect set of tens-up with his solo debut on our label called: 'Cerebro.' Brazilian bad boy Ferrer rounds out the comp with his track 'Funky Jazz' making this another round of five perfect tens. Dimes indeed.

House and techno come together almost like one of those Netflix specials about distant cousins who somehow get married without knowing it. Weird. 4X4 drums and a vibey grooves sling these two genres together like a bucket of beers and a sunset, which is why it’s always hard to say 'He's a techno DJ' or 'This guy is a house producer'. They are two of the same in many situations, and that precisely sums up Manolo!

A man of many talents is our Manny. A lover of the art, colour, creativity and lucky for us he has a fetish for kick drums. Lead track 'Sneakin' is a deep chordy house groove sprinkled with vocal chops and a funky bassline. We have been playing this one for quite a while and it’s great for us to finally have it out. On the flip we have two cuts that really showcase the extent of what Manolo is capable of. U Say has a touch of something for everyone. It’s emotional, it’s deep, but its definitely still party! Bday Cake is on a much darker techno tip featuring the perfect amount of 'shake that ass' (as some would call it). This ones a late nightery, but that’s why we love it.

Two tracks both as good as each other made it tough for us to choose which one would feature first. Unlike the age-old chicken and egg conundrum, we had to come up with an answer. So we present to you Enkankaneo - a chunky exotic banger full of warm subs, screams and monkeys (yes, monkeys). Not just 1 monkey either, there are many of them. This one has been one of those ID’s that keeps getting asked after. The b-side is a one way ride to club land. Kick, Bass, Vocals and 11/10 energy, drive this one home at 127 bpm. Seatbelts optional, but encouraged.

This release is so vibey that those pesky monkeys have even been feeling it down in the Amazon!

Fresh off his Dirtybird release - we present to you Frivolous Jackson, who is teaming up with XFDS for this occasion to bring you two contemporary high-energy and bass-heavy tracks.

'My House,' as the EP is called, features two excellent Bass House tracks, with the title track being a vocal heavy, bumpy ride that should go down well at peak hour, while 'Drip' blesses us with straight-up eclectic madness from beginning to end.

The Chicagoans have produced tracks that capture raw, low-end energy while combining it with the quirkiness you've come to expect from our label. And so, in short - we love this EP for you guys, and we're happy we finally get to share these weapons with you guys.

-How long have you been creating music?

 I started producing about 6/7 years ago at the age of 18.



-What do you use to make your tracks?

Basically a laptop, a headphone and a pair of 4" monitors where I rarely call them because I don't have acoustic treatment in the room, the sound is horrible... I always wear headphones.



-How and when did you first discover Dirtybird?

 If i don't miss the memory around 2017/2018 after listening to some tracks of Claude Vonstroke.



-Which Dirtybird artist would you want to collaborate with the most?

 That's a lot of names, but I'm going to quote Kyle Watson... I've seen him play a few times and he always thrills me.



-If your entire life was a movie, what title would best describe you?

 Dream ing and acting.



-What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?
