We are so happy to welcome ATTICUS to our label in 2023 with a spicy club banger called 'Nine, One, One'. 
This release is nothing other than serotonin and spice. When ATTICUS sent us this track, the contrast between the raging bassline and the soft whispers on top immediately indicated that this track would go off at a venue. This track brings so much energy to a room and is the perfect transition track from playing chill tech house to playing banger after banger.

And just like that, a new label was born!

The humble kick drum. The foundation on which every good dance record is built. The right ones just work, but pick the wrong one and your track will sound like tomato soup in the club. No one likes tomato soup in the club, trust us.

Kick Drums is Kyle Watson's first release on his new label No Context, and it's one of those records that blows up the DM's after it gets teased. He's dug deep into his satchel of saturated sounds and crafted possibly the biggest foghorn hit this side of the Atlantic. Pair that with a simple vocal repeat and a pulsing kick drum pattern that answers the call, and you've got yourself a club weapon right there.

This is just the beginning.

Danny Kolk's newest production brings together robotic elements and strange synthesizers, creating a unique atmosphere that seems to have come straight from the mind of a sleeping robot that was found inside a jukebox in one of the most famous bars on Imagine Island.

With voices that seem to come from beyond and a constant groove, it's impossible to stay still to the sound of these enveloping beats. The perforated acapella repeats non-stop, maintaining the intensity of the music every second and transporting you to a new dimension.

The term 'frothing' is a big surfing term. When you have a good day out on the water, you're absolutely frothinnnnnggg. Typically we are an Australian label and surfing is massive over here, so we like to use the word frothing in everyday situations. 

When the foods good - frothing. When you get a nice new trim - frothing. When you hear some wacked out dope new music - FROTHING! As you can probably tell we are absolutely frothing on this new release by German young gun Simenga! Nothing gets us more excited than signing new artists. That's the soul of this label and today you will not be disappointed with what he has to present to you. 

Tight production and a funky bassline bring us in for the A-side 'The End Of The World'. From the get-go you can feel this one's going to be a fully-fledged stomper. The B-side Beat Control is dripping in psychotic FX, leads and pitched down vocals. There is no doubt Simenga was feeling particularly dark when we wrote these. The thing that really gets us on this one is the scary vocal pads swirling around the drums. Seems like something out of an extra-terrestrial movie! 

New blood, new energy and still rocking that Box of Cats sound. Let's go Simenga!

With infectious drum loops and psychedelic sounds, Dipzy invites us to take an incredible journey with him on both Que Pasa & Hold Up. Dipzy has always resonated with us because of his true BOC quirkiness and vibes. He's always able to weave in and out of dance-ability and unique sound design without overcooking it. He’s a master of his craft. 

We are frothing to have him back and 100% we'll be getting dipzy to these!

You ever get in trouble from your school teacher and you're forced to apologise but you aren't actually sorry? That exact feeling perfectly encapsulate this release. Is Ocean Roulette actually sorry? I doubt it. We’ve met him and he's not that kinda guy. 

We are SUPER proud to welcome Ocean back onto BOC with his biggest release with us to date! 3 unforgiving hitters straight up built for the dance floor. 

Championing the pack is the headliner 'Sorry About That'. It's like Beethoven took LSD and started banging his head on the piano. On the B-side we have a groove emotive number Lookin At Me. This tune is super unique and we can already feel this one smacking the afters. Finishing off the EP is undoubtedly the secret weapon of the package. Beethoven just got his first synthesiser, tweaked the resonance to eleven and just went ham! 

There's no doubt Ocean Roulette continues to be one to watch, with this EP covering so much ground and energy all in one.

Where our dogs at?? We have no idea, and frankly we do not care. 

Since the battle of Catius-Dogius 24 AD, we have been sworn enemies of the Good-Boy-Kind, keeping our space and hissing to any that approach. We hold one thing near and dear and that is our fellow cats, our brethren that hold similar values and enjoy the taste of canned fish. 

Today we are celebrating these very cats with another instalment of our BOT compilation. A mini taste-testing dish of what BOC is all about! 

This time around we have some of our fav BOT tracks to date. Mz Worthy, Max Kaluza & TRND top the package with 2 bass heavy heaters, while Mitch Dodge & Hotfire swing through with their signature SD flavour. Chasing those we have one of our BOC favourites Rob Marion, who has teamed up with Good Neighbor for a wonky house jam. Rounding out the package is a super unique one that’s a touch different, but gives off all the right emotions. Welcome, newcomer TDR!!
