That’s it, we’re extending summer this year because this new record has got WAY too much heat for the cold. Scientists have actually confirmed that since this Smalltown DJ’s demo landed in our inbox, the rate of global warming accelerated. And who are we to argue with scientists?

'Nobody' asked for such a perfectly crafted record, but here it is. Smalltown DJ's have delivered what could be one of this seasons dancefloor anthems! Serious saws, huge kick drums and an angelic breakdown straight from the heavens bring this thing together like summer and an ice cold beer.

We felt the record was so strong that we enlisted two of our favourite artists to hop onto remix duties. First up, label boss Marc Spence gives it a driving house twist with all the signature crazy LFO's you know him so well for. If that doesn't get you revved up we have Aussie hero Hood Rich on the flip, locking the groove and giving the track a whole new meaning.

Don’t forget your sunscreen, things are about to get toasty up here.

Function VIP by Justin Martin & Party Ardy has been our JAM since the beginning of time. It really resonates with us deep in our souls because no matter where we are in the world you can always find us “At the Club, Shakin’ our Ass!”

 -Favorite food?

Chicken Wings are by far our favorite food. They are always perfect, easy to eat, and can absorb any flavor they touch. Disclaimer: if you are one of those people that likes breaded chicken wings… don’t bother talking to us. 

-Best DJ gig experience?

We played an 800-person pool party in Nicaragua called Sunday Funday at the Naked Tiger. Being surrounded by that many half-naked people froth’n for our music while the sun was setting behind us was truly something magical. Not to mention we had two blender bartenders working overtime to make sure we were sipping the freshest Pina Coladas and a lovely woman who kept bringing us chicken wings. The only downside to this whole experience is that the power sources surge A LOT in Central America which means you constantly get electrocuted when you touch the DJ equipment. Somehow the electric shock gives you a type of high that’s painful and exciting at the same time. The locals say it’s an acquired taste. 

-Who's your #1 fan?

Wongo is hands down our #1 Fan! No matter what, that guy always takes his shirt off and rushes whatever stage we’re playing to hug us with his sweet sexy body. We must admit, we do kind of like it ;)

What is the Perfect Driver Tour Bus? 

We would like to be the first independent dance music record label to take our show on the road. Literally. With help from supporters, label-head Matthew Anthony will be customizing a Sprinter Van to pick up artists in one city to play shows in the next while remote operating the label in an ongoing Perfect Driver tour. See link to crowd-funding campaign below.

Our goal is to give Perfect Driver artists and fans a one of a kind experience. A #VanLife styled road trip where the DJ plays shows in big cities, small towns and everywhere in between, all while producing music in a mobile recording studio. Picture the Perfect Driver high-top Sprinter Van at a local art show or skate park with artists performing from the back. Or our #DJsAndCooking web-series broadcasting live from festivals. Imagine pit stops in National Parks while documenting artist & industry conversations on YouTube or Patreon for subscribers. Our plan includes playing quarterly shows in major markets.

If you're a Perfect Driver artist, we want to bring you on the road. If you're a show promoter or venue, we want to talk about working together. Ocean Roulette, Arnold & Lane - Groove (Out Jan 3)

We’re suckers for funky tracks with weird noises, off-kilter vocals and rolling low end. Even better when it comes from artists we never heard before. 
“Rhythm Poetry” came to us from Jargen of Jakarta, Indonesia, a brand new alias of a former Dubstep producer who found the beauty of the underground and started making house music. We’re glad he did, because this track is right up our alley.
