The Boxwell / Feldman Group is a Seattle-based jazz band co-led by guitarist Owen Boxwell and bassist Ben Feldman. The group usually performs as a quintet of various configurations. The group's style is creative and interactive, influenced by the music of Charles Mingus, Horace Silver, John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, as well as contemporary jazz groups. Much of the repertoire includes lesser-known tunes by old and modern jazz composers, and original compositions and arrangements.
