Leo Riggio - Magic Presence [South America Avenue]

What a superb collaboration we have on this release — a trio of distinctive talents joining forces to deliver a mesmerizing original alongside two masterful remixes. Wattoom, Simeon Fuchs, and Ignace Paepe present “Chamber Vision”, an elegant organic house journey that radiates warmth and joy. Driven by crisp drum sections, lush pads, and delicate piano sequences, the track flows effortlessly with a subby bassline that permeates the entire mix. It’s a summerish, sun-drenched tune designed to lift spirits and bring dancefloors into a state of bliss.

The remixes take the release into new dimensions. Neeco steps in with a progressive-leaning rework, bringing his signature groove and club-ready energy. His interpretation keeps the melodic charm intact but adds a more driving character, turning “Chamber Vision” into a peak-time weapon that balances atmosphere and rhythm with finesse.

Closing the package, BiG Al offers a deep and dub-infused rendition. Known for his hypnotic grooves and unmistakable drum work, he reimagines the original with a more subtle and introspective flavor. His remix remains vibrant but trades the uplifting summer touch for a deeper, late-night mood — perfect for intimate dancefloors and after-hours sessions.

The tenth edition of the Early Morning label stands as both a milestone and a statement of intent. In just a single year, its founder has reshaped the underground dance music landscape with a catalog that redefined the possibilities of the genre. This latest release features two new pieces that together form a tightly woven conceptual work spanning nearly seventeen minutes.

Guy J has built his reputation on reinvention. Each release feels less like a continuation of his past and more like a step into uncharted terrain. On the opening track, Worlds Apart, he fuses an emotive core with intricate sound design and spatial experimentation, leading listeners into liminal states where consciousness and subconsciousness blur. Despite its cerebral qualities, the piece never loses its pulse, the steady momentum that keeps it firmly anchored to the dancefloor.

True to the label’s name, this is music designed for dawn, for moments of release after a long night, for embraces on crowded floors, for the intangible bonds that form through shared experience.
