Luke Hess remains one of the most innovative, underground producers and DJ’s out there. Not one to seek the limelight or the fame, his focus remains in the present what it has in the past. He is committed to spotlighting and showcasing deep, thoughtful, pensive Techno and its ability to transcend space and time.

Representing Detroit, he weaves moody ambient textures throughout shuffling percussion and dusty drums to create an atmosphere which is as eerie as it is for the dancefloor. This mix reflects that.

Over the years he has released material on the likes of HotMix Records, Echochord and Visionquest amongst many more. He remains spirited and committed to the music born and raised in Detroit and is a keen ambassador for Techno in the purest, truest sense of the word.

Now in its 200th instalment, this Podcast has given voice to a diverse offering of global talents across the musical spectrum, from the democratic rhythms of zeitgeist appropriate techno and house through to more avant-garde synthwork.

This next guest has cast a large shadow over the technosphere, so large in fact, that no introduction could fully encompass the breadth of his achievements. But in brief: Ben Klock is a titan whose formative years were spent playing marathon mixes to the crowds at Berlin’s (then recently opened) Berghain. Off the back of his endurance sets and the club’s success he became a household name whose influence grew to be felt across the world, with a body of work that includes appearances at an exhaustive list of clubs and festivals, a number of hot releases on Ostgut Ton and an equally respected self-run label (Klockworks) to boot. On this second imprint, his own productions have repeatedly seen the light of day, alongside those from the likes of DVS1, Sterac, Stef Mendesidis and younger talents like Temudo and Vil & Cravo. The sound, ubiquitous as it is, will be familiar to anyone involved in the world of electronic music and there’s good reason for that: Klock’s deep and percussive work and ability to pull from a wide range of influences have earmarked him as a unique agent for the techno cause. Atmospheric and delivered with hammering force, Klock’s refined palette for rhythms is as relevant now as ever. Boyd Goosman (who used to be part of the techno outfit Noirdegout) wasknown for his powerfull releases on No Fear Records, and White noise (Dave Clake's inprint) which have been played by some of the
most recognised DJs of the scene (Laurent Garnier , Fabrice Lig , Dave Clarke...). He now works on his own , finding his niche in strong but deep and evocative Techno. 
This new material on Aequilon show his love for Electro, Detroit vibe's, but also Berlin's modern Techno. 

After spending so many hours in recent years dancing all other Europe on the weirdest and wild dancefloors, Boyd Goosman felt that it was the right moment to express again his unique sonic trademarks. 

For this first release on Aequilon , we asked to Berlin's resident CADENCY (aka Héctor Oaks) (Reclaim Your City, Key Vinyl, OAKS records...) to deliver an absolute killer remix of‘Lost control’ and he did it with an ultraphat bassheavy monster  !!!
