For the second round of the SYNTHICIDE split EP series, two projects merge together on a release that combine opposing perspectives on EBM music. Welcome Klack versus Inconscio Viola.

The lead track, “The Exorcist III,” features the collaborative project of Italian producers Francesco Baudazzi of Violet Poison/Diana Berti (Veleno Viola) and Andrea Riberti of Unconscious (Detriti, X-IMG) under the moniker Inconscio Viola. It's clear that the duo make a sensible pairing with their shared roots in vintage horror movies and nunsploitation film influences. With ghostly samples and a slithering bassline, the track snakes between the recognizable aesthetics of both producers.

Pre-order is available now via Bandcamp for digital and a limited edition of 33 pink fluorescent cassette tapes.

The broken windows theory is a criminological theory that states that visible signs of crime, anti-social behavior, and civil disorder create an urban environment that encourages further crime and disorder, including serious crimes.
The theory suggests that policing methods that target minor crimes,[dubious – discuss] such as vandalism, loitering[not verified in body], public drinking[not verified in body], jaywalking[not verified in body] and fare evasion[not verified in body], help to create an atmosphere of order and lawfulness, thereby preventing more serious crimes.

The theory was introduced in a 1982 article by social scientists James Q. Wilson and George L. Kelling.It was further popularized in the 1990s by New York City police commissioner William Bratton and Mayor Rudy Giuliani, whose policing policies were influenced by the theory.

The theory became subject to great debate both within the social sciences and the public sphere. Broken windows policing has become associated with controversial police practices, such as the use of "stop-and-frisk" by the New York City Police Department. In response, Bratton and Kelling have written that broken windows policing should not be treated as "zero tolerance" or "zealotry", but as a method that requires "careful training, guidelines, and supervision" and a positive relationship with communities, thus linking it to community policing.
