Dublin-based alternative pop artist Apollo Monroe and British electronic artist and producer OLD PUP join forces on new hyperpop anthem, “bubblegum boy”. The tracks' infectious hooks, bouncing synths, glitchy vocals, and a sugary overcoat create an earworm of a hyperpop anthem that combines elements of EDM, bubblegum-pop, and dance-pop.

Irish artist Apollo Monroe and British artist OLD PUP collaborated on the hyperpop track "cyber crush" during the COVID-19 Lockdown. The track is about being infatuated with someone who you only know from the internet. The sound takes influence from ska beats, 90s EDM, early 2000s Pop Punk, and modern Hyperpop acts such as 100 Gecs. Monroe + OLD PUP teamed up with Liberty Music PR to promote the track online, in music publications, radio, and a slew of live gigs across both Ireland + the UK.
