A‑B was born in Hamburg and spent her formative years in Berlin, where she discovered her love for techno music. She started to DJ when she moved to Southern Germany for her studies, where she eventually started to play at bigger events and club venues. She also became part of the queer-feminist DJ collective FemBPM. Together they strive for more diversity and visibility behind the decks and a stronger culture of awareness in the clubbing scene.
Her sound is very energetic and driving, with a focus on dark melodic techno. Some sets also include deep house or tech house elements. As a child born and raised in the 90s, she also has a love for tunes from the older days.

The fusion of his combined experience in the studio enables him to compose dark, sinister sounds mixed with twisted, haunting and exploding atmospheric foundations.

Combining the deepest, puristic and raw techno, Modular Systems is never shy to stay away from ripping into sets with hypnotic rhythm and progression into the deepest industrial sounds and the most poly- chromatic textures. Her musical background, coming from the punk/crust in Dresden and drawing from a lot of different influences has made her become her an eclectic and very versatile DJ, mixing break beat techno, UK, wave and oldschool classics.

This mix however, is straight to the point, fast and rolling, ravey techno!  Fast Forward style :) Enjoy

It's a break in the system, a moment of pure and straight possession of a fragment, an electronic pirate escape, from reality and from the Social Media struggle. As far as today we don't listen to the Radio as our unique source, we are connected to something not so far. The Internet allowed us to use media in a different way, but not for this reason we have to stop to dig. Playlists might be good, and Youtube is cool as well, but where is your joy to discover something beyond that concept? Like a mad alchemist on a mission, Emmanuel melt whatever comes to his hands, the result is a fucked up Interruption in some sort of dimension. The tracks are played all without counting the timing aspect on different channels, exactly as a standard " playlist transition" Some will work, some don't, Interrupting your daily routines is key. ▬ EMMANUEL | 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐔𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍​﹙JANUARY﹚—

Half of @WODAWATER label and Château Shatter duo, cocurator of WODA event cycle and co-host of WDWTR Radio shows. Krakow local. French linguist. Setting up a DIY soundtrack to his debut novel “Oswajanie szkła” (lit. “Taming of glass”), an anti-utopian thriller, dragged him further into DJing. These “pulsing, distorted and stuffy techno cuts”, intended initially to serve just as illustrations, turned out to be versatile means of expression he sought as an artist.

Within this mix, @kubachateau tries to cast a wider glance at the “finity” of his selection which goes in tune with his preference for vinyl: both encouraging him to work his creativity in the face of limits. The simplicity here meets overabundance, noise merges with silence, psychedelia with tangibility, melody with anti-melody. In the background, you can sense cognitive discomfort, good dream gone wrong and a fear of sterile clean clubs.
