Production is supplied by BP, who crafts an ominous head banger that keeps the track in a constant state of suspense. "True-N-Livin' Nightmares" is the first leak taken from Cooper's sophomore LP, 'God's Will,' which includes guest appearances from Ill Bill, Rah Digga, Sean Price, Killah Priest, and many more. BP & Shyheim forged a great chemistry while recording "Revenge of the 9th Prince" together.  Shyheim was featured on two of 9th Prince's songs ("Young Godz Pt II" & "Sour Diesel" ft William Cooper).  BP went on to produce two records ("Just Be U" & "Evil Bitches") for Shyheim's "Disrespectfully Speaking" LP.  On "The Good I Do", BP brings that classic Wu sound while Shyheim laces the track with his signature bars and flow.  The track begins with an introduction warning the listener to take a closer look at the people involved in your life.  Making sure that the company you keep is chosen wisely.

Forever P (feat. Sean Price)

Long Island producer BP delivers an equally slick and grimy new lyric video for “This Is Easy,” a gully, NYC-as-f*ck track featuring East Coast stalwarts Nature, Royal Flush, and Prodigy. 

Given their respective rap pedigrees, these three are bound to body any track they appear on—but together? “This Is Easy” is a prime example of why heads still look to Queens cats to provide gritty, uncompromising Boom bap. But it’s made that much more potent when driven through the sonic lens of BP, whose beat hits like a well-placed slap upside the head.

On the lead single off his forthcoming compilation LP, 'Timeless Music,' Long Island producer BP The Neckbreaker laces grimy strings and slapping drums for “Stacking Ammo,” a hard-hitting collaboration featuring Wu-Tang affiliates, Frukwan and 9th Prince.

The track represents the first we’re hearing from the beatsmith’s 18 track compilation album, which boasts a slew of notable guests including late rap legends Sean Price and Prodigy. And on “Stacking Ammo,” BP displays his affinity for crafting joints that perfectly match the tough talk and wordplay of the extended Wu family.

Frukwan (of Gravediggaz) and 9th Prince (of Killarmy) previously joined forces on the latter’s One Man Army album, and “Stacking Ammo” continues the tradition of these two sounding like they need to record a full album together…immediately. Their back-to-back verses are raw and full of quotables, all of which sound even better thanks to BP’s bone-chilling production.

With more than 15 years in the game, Long Island beatsmith BP The Neckbreaker has established himself as one of the go-to producers for a number of notable emcees. He’s worked with Wu-Tang members and affiliates (RZA, 9th Prince), rap legends who are longer with us (Sean Price, Prodigy), and underground heavyweights (Ras Kass, Nature). And with Timeless Music, BP is showcasing his monumental talents behind the boards while giving a strong nod to the artists he’s collaborated with over the years.

For the producer, putting together the unreleased tracks, remixes, and classic cuts for 'Timeless Music' was his way of releasing something that “could be played in any era.” He wanted to share something that remains fresh, no matter when you listen to it. Like Nas did with Illmatic and GZA did with Liquid Swords, BP says, “I just tried to add my piece to the culture of Hip-Hop that hopefully will live on for a long time.” 

To say he accomplishes that goal on this project would be an understatement. 'Timeless Music' has that raw, Boom bap edge to it that doesn’t sound dated, or of a specific era. Artists will be striving to flip joints like this for years to come, and BP has certainly laid an intriguing blueprint for how to do so.

When people hear these tracks, BP just hopes they walk away with respect for his craft. “Too many people are sleeping,” he says. “I need to wake them up.” Consider this your wake-up call.

Nature (The Firm) returns with another single to promote his latest release “Scrap Paper”. “Take a Trip” starts with a perfectly placed BP hook that is a play off of one of Nature’s most iconic verses from the Nore classic posse cut “Banned From TV”.  Nature skates across the track switching between verses and hooks with a free form song structure that is a refreshing change from the generic song structure of 16 bars and then a hook. Nate’s emotion can be felt throughout the track, recorded the day of the tragic news of Chris Lighty passing away. Tragedy Khadafi & BP aren’t about that weak shit on their tough-as-nails new single, “Upper Echelon,” which is brimming with crazy quotables and hard-hitting production. 

The brassy banger is also the first track we’re hearing from their much anticipated joint album, 'Immortal Titans.' And while this may be the first proper project from the two New York artists—Trag is from Queensbridge, BP is from Amityville—they have proven to be a formidable duo in the past, like on BP’s hard hitting 'Timeless Music' compilation.

You could say those previous collaborations lit the fire for joints like “Upper Echelon,” which slaps you upside the head with its brassy, crunchy production. And just as you’re about to feel safe, Trag hops on the mic and delivers line after line of real-talk braggadocio, including “That’s why my pockets is fat, your shit is anorexic” and “Icepick you in the throat with a iller note.” At nearly three decades in the game, you’d think dude would slow down, but it sounds like he’s just getting started.

On his second single with producer BP, Queensbridge rap legend Tragedy Khadafi airs out his beef with Marley Marl and vividly details how it all unfolded on “Story Never Told.”

Trag sets the tone over BP’s raw and dusty instrumental about the time that he and his idol were on a road trip from Queensbridge to DC. It was during this trip where he first dropped the idea of getting behind a young talented group of emcees he wanted to call the Lords of the Underground. Marl seemed dismissive, though it may have all been a front.

You see, when Trag got back to Queens after a trip to the West Coast, he found that LOTUG had formed as Marl’s “own idea.” Not only that, but as Trag explains on the 2nd verse, he was the only guest artist not featured on the artwork for Marl’s ‘88 release, 'In Control'—despite the fact Trag appeared on two singles (under his former moniker, Percy Tragedy).

With this all in mind, you’d think Trag would be salty, right? Nah. As he spits so eloquently about all the drama, “On the flip side, it only really boost my strength/ Gave me more confidence so I could go the whole length/ For my mentor to take an idea from me/ Only means my vision is that of impeccable G.”

As the final teaser off their upcoming ‘Immortal Titans’ LP, Tragedy Khadafi & BP team up with Connecticut’s finest, Apathy, to deliver snarling bully raps on the hard-hitting “Mastermind.”

The New York duo and their guest are also joined by Long Island legend DJ Stitches, whose scratched hook more than makes this cipher complete. He drops in venomous quotes from Hip-Hop royalty that serve to properly punch-up the brutal no-bullsh*t raps of Trag and Ap, who absolutely kill it with back-to-back verses.

Beyond the wordplay and slick quotables, though, these two emcees just sound focused and hungry at a time when so many other so-called rappers would simply phone in their verses and call it a day. But Trag and Ap aren’t your typical rappers, of course, and they simply body the beat from BP, whose combination of strings, piano keys, and drums is pure mayhem.

To celebrate the release of their exceptional collaborative LP, Tragedy Khadafi & BP share the appropriately epic, and visually stunning new video for the title track, “Immortal Titans.”

The video is directed by filmmaker and VFX artist Mike Hanratty of ScientificLens, who’s worked with Ill Bill, Nature, and 9th Prince. And for “Immortal Titans,” Hanratty takes his impeccable effects work to create an ethereal dream world where the streets meet fantasy, truly turning this into a larger-than-life experience, while still remaining Hip-Hop to the core. 

The New York-repping duo’s hard-hitting anthem almost plays like the soundtrack to a short film wherein Trag is the great rap overseer making his proclamations for all to hear. “The imagery reflects not only the lyrics but the feel of the record,” says BP. You also get to see many of his lines brought to life with eye-popping effects, including portions of the hook like “If hip-hop is the body, then I’m the heart of that.”
