This song was written about when I moved across the country only to be blindsided by my wife at the time, who was supposed to follow me. As it turned out, she wasn't coming, and this song reflects the pain I experienced throughout the separation and divorce.

San Diego is one of the most beautiful cities in Southern California. I fell in love with it during a rough part of my life, and felt inspired to write about it.

San Diego Sunshine

This is a song I wrote specifically for the military community. While in the Marine Corps, I have lost many friends to a variety of circumstances. This song is for those who need help, as well as a reminder to those to help those around us in our lives. Shine your light.

Battle Scars

Brendan John Pugh is a passionate and dedicated music professional with the talent and mindset to succeed. Originally from Maryland, he now resides in Winter Park, Florida, where he attends Full Sail University. Brendan is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Audio Production and is expected to graduate with honors in 2023. Upon completion, he will be continuing his education at Full Sail by working towards a Master's degree in Entertainment Business. In addition to his songwriting and recording as a solo artist, he's one of five members in the Southern Rock band "The Bourbon Brothers", located in Central Florida. Altogether, their unique brand of entertainment fuses loud instrumentation and punchy hooks with witty stage banter that will make you want to get on your feet. Brendan co-wrote their single "Burning Out Moonlight" which was selected as a semi-finalist in the 2020 International Songwriting Competition. Their debut EP "Southern Soul & Rock N' Roll" is available now! Brendan records at The Spot Studios in Evergreen, Colorado with Glenn Sawyer (Producer/Engineer) and Rich Veltrop (Producer/Mixing and Mastering Engineer). He's also an Endorsed Artist with Hoxey Guitars. A descendant of John Philip Sousa and a Marine Corps veteran, Brendan's available for live entertainment, songwriting, and work for hire as a recording session musician.
