BQ:RAM are a duo of Italian djs and electronic music producers. 
Their experience as selecters in clubs and underground events deeply influenced their first LP(Unspoken, SVP, 2007), a fully instrumental trip into downtempo, breakbeat and post–hop music.
The debut album was followed by along tour around Italy in which djsets and selections (mainly hiphop and electro oriented)introduced an original showcase where tracks of the LP were re-arranged and live remixed through laptops, samplers and fxboards.
In 2010, BQ:RAM promoted their second LP (Blue Sand City , SVP) a complex double flavoured (soul-jazzy/electro) work which featured appearances by many underground artists of the Italian and International hiphop scene (ElDaSensei, Punchline, Raashan Ahmad, Bisco Smith, Tormento, Al Castellana).
In just three months, BlueSandCity turned out as an European HipHop Classic. 
Distributed on Itunes and sold through the most important European HipHop retail store (HHV.de), the critically acclaimed lp gained positive feedbacks from Korea to Portugal, being labeled as a proof that eclectic music and hiphop can still walk together.
In september 2010, BQ:RAM toured the USA hitting NewYork and NewJersey.
Inlate 2011/early2012, BQ:RAM released three remix eps (ReWorked Vol.1,2,3) featuring international remixes by Mabanua, FidMella, Brenk, JazzyPidjay, Kixnare, Shag, TheJazzment.
In June 2012, they released an instrumental EP (The Day Before I Loved You) exploring soft atmospheres with a brand new, less sample-based approach, which they further developed in “2212”, their last EP, released in Dec 2012.
In the meanwhile they published the main remix for “Chiamamme”, the lead track of “Reality” OST,a movie by the Italian M.Garrone, which previously directed the world known“Gomorrah”.
In May 2013, BQ:RAM released an EP (Atlantic Sky) featuring the LA based mc Bisco Smith on the vocals, exploring the roots of golden age hip hop blended with a fresh approach on the rhythm patterns.
BQ:RAM's highly anticipated third LP will be dropping fall 2014.
