The Giggler Treatment is back at The Ark. And this December we have two audio described performances, on Sunday 8 Dec at 2pm, and Thursday 19 Dec at 12.15pm. Audio description introduction to the accessible performance of "The Haircut" at The Ark, Dublin, on Thursday 4 April 2025, at 12.15pm. These notes include descriptions of the cast, costumes, props, set and all the musical instruments that go into creating this wonderful story of Labhraidh Loingseach and the mystery that lies beneath his unusual hairstyle. This described performance also has a Touch Tour beforehand at 11.30am.

Introduction to "The Book of Mormon" for the audio-described performance at 7.30 on Thursday 10th of April at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. This track contains details about the show, the set and props, the cast and their costumes, as well as the details of the creative team. 

The Book of Mormon - AD Introduction

Audio Description introduction to "Youth's the Season -?" for the accessible performance at 2pm on Saturday 19 April 2025 in the Abbey Theatre. This track contains details about the creative team, the play itself, as well as descriptions of the set, props, cast and their costumes. There will also be a Touch Tour of the stage before this accessible performance, meeting at the foyer of the Abbey Theatre at 11.50am. The image accompanying this track is by Ros Kavanagh, and depicts the cast during the Act Two party scene, dancing wildly.

Youths the Season_Audio Description Introduction

An introduction to the audio described performance of "Escaped Alone", in Project Arts Centre on the 25th of June, 2025, at 7.30pm. This introduction contains details of the creative team and cast, as well as descriptions of the set, lighting, costumes and characters. There will be a Touch Tour for audiences with low vision before the performance, at 6pm.

Escaped Alone - Audio Description Introduction

An audio description introduction to the world premiere of "Static" by Jimmy McAleavey, running in the Peacock Theatre, at the Abbey Theatre until the 18th of July 2025. This introduction contains details of the show, its creative team and cast, as well as descriptions of the set, props, and costumes. While there is no live audio described performance during this run, it is hoped that this introduction increases accessibility for this production, enabling patrons with low vision to fully enjoy the show, either in its nightly performances at 8pm, or the Saturday matinees at 2.30pm. Audio Description Introduction for "The Beacon" by Nancy Harris, ahead of the described matinee performance on Saturday 12 July 2025 at 2pm.
