At first glance Ali Love’s lead single “Deep Into The Night”, his first new material since his profile-exploding Hot Natured work, is primed to elicit an 80’s pop undercurrent. But as definitely not a producer to rest on any success, here, Love sounds psychedelically liberated; airing deeply personal details through dance-floor paced electronic rhythms to quicken the pulse, and dulcet vocal tones to soothe the ear.
