Q. How would you describe yourself?
A. Lol this dating show once asked me this question and I said a lazy thrill seeker and avid playlist maker. But I guess the real answer is, I’m a Honduran American queer artist and DJ. Ever since I was a little kid, I loved getting people together and making them listen to music. So I guess it’s kinda cool that I’ve been able to now make that my living.

Q. How long have you been a part of the NY music scene?
A. I moved to NYC a lil more then 10 years ago and I feel like I’ve been a part of the music scene since I got here. As soon as I saw my parents driving off, I remember calling my friend and being like, “so what we doin tonight?” I was/am a big tumblr head so I knew where cute music things were happening. It was a lil more than 8 years ago that I got really involved with the scene because that’s when Papi Juice started. And I’ve never looked back :)

Q. Tell us a little bit about this mix.
A. I had this big concept story for this mix. Initially I thought that it would be the perfect mix to put on in the moment when you’re having your first joint/glass with a potential boo. So I decided to only have zouk, tarraxinha, and kizomba type sounds. I wanted romance! But now that I’ve recorded it and spent so much time with it, I just hope people fuck to it and if they do that they tell me what a perfect soundtrack this was.
