I’d say this was definitely the most fun one to work on yet, which happens to be perfect for the subject material!! mini-games have always been one of the most charming parts of the original pvz to me (very original opinion, i know) and of course everyone’s familiar with the classic Loonboon track used for them. i really wanted to do something silly for ProvEdition, too \:)
midway through working on this, the song structure for the first minute felt very familiar to me and reminded me of something i’d made before which i COULDNT quite pinpoint. turns out i silently mimicked the song structure of Unusual Forecast from terraria provedition lol
either way, hope you enjoy this less serious song AND my amazing whack-a-zombie skills in the background footage. nighttime front yard theme NEXT WEEK! there will be fungus among us…

i swear. no matter what project im working on, the music always comes back to MUSHROOMS…
but yeah, this track was of course inspired by the heavily-orchestral ‘Moongrains’ from the original PvZ soundtrack which this track replaces. i also felt influenced to put my own synth-y twist on it as part of my neverending inspiration that stems from the deltarune soundtrack (particularly the triangle bassline heard throughout the song!)
as for the huge wave section? i completely winged it. the result? pretty good, i’d say! I dont really know what else to say about this song, its not often im satisfied enough with one to have not much commentary to give on it :0
oh right, the important thing… if you listen closely, you’ll hear it lurking in the background. HE has began to notice your efforts. continue to plant, at your own risk…

Coming straight to YOUR pool! They gave up on the Front Yard and are now coming on back into the SHALLOW END! I gotta admit i had the idea to reference that old song back when i was planning out the soundtrack in the first place. I knew i wanted to reference a motif here or there, without going too overboard, so dont expect to hear too much of that in this soundtrack.
Just like with Fungus Among Us this was super fun to make! I got into it straight away as soon as i finished the first piano pattern, because i liked how bouncy it was starting to sound. Of course Im pretty sure this doesnt top Watery Graves from vanilla PvZ, but i did compose Shallow End with the idea in mind of it being one of the heaviest-hitters in this soundtrack. Hope yall are having a great summer so far!! :D

welcome to the one (and only!) remix within the PvZ: ProvEdition soundtrack. i got the idea to give dave his own version of the menu track solely because his store items are sold within the back of a car. i had the horrendous idea to make a remix that sounds like trashy 80s/90s music that older guys blast really loudly when driving around in their cars. in the provedition canon, dave made this terrible remix himself. i dont really have much else to say on this track other than that it was the worst thing ive ever made! stick around till the end of the video, to find out about the HALFWAY POINT… coming THIS FRIDAY. :)

AB is finally back! this song has been complete since mid-may but earlier this week i finally received the finished biome artwork that was requested for use within the video. Horizon's Edge is a very colorful biome that you can find up in space, and its design has a strong focus around gems. These gems have a very special purpose and are used to power up something...
The group of asteroids that make up the biome remain protected, but maybe you could be next to explore this place where the stars turn red.

It's been some time, so welcome back. We are now at the HALFWAY point of PvZ: ProvEdition!! this particular track took me a long time to get done because i wanted to make sure i got it just right. the levels at the end of each garden in PvZ are probably my favorite part of the game as they really put to test the strategies you learned in the 9 levels prior. as a result, i leaned into a more serious tone for the track to represent the high-stakes atmosphere as the zombies send out their biggest attacks of all. 
get ready to fight with your BRAINZ on the line!! Say it with me folks, SOW BE IT!

This is the first non-Terraria track on the channel to receive an update, Im pretty sure!! honestly ever since i released the original version of Escapist Origins i hated the outcome of it. the song was held together by weak tape and the composition wasn't cohesive at ALL
with this update i attempted to reverse engineer that composition and turn it into something more calming and open to represent what Escapists gameplay during free periods is like, while retaining the looming feeling of dread for what's yet to come.

i can not even begin to express how difficult it has been to compose this theme. unlike other recent challenges faced while composing, this one didn't take multiple attempts but rather was one attempt that took me a long time to get right. so stressful to the point that in this video, the song does NOT yet have a 'Huge Wave' variant. after finally getting the base variant completed last night after too long, i just decided on releasing this version for now as i dont want to keep you all waiting any longer. a Huge Wave variant for this track WILL be released at a later date, but it is not currently a priority. with all the doom and gloom out the way, i hope you enjoy. nice to be back on track again!
