August 2018: This is an instrumental I wrote that I got to perform live at my church gig over two weeks ago. Thank you UU Shelter Rock Church for the opportunity! I call this ditty "Eventide".... For the nerds out there, the thing I am holding in my hands is a Fender Classic series 60's MIM Strat with lacquer finish (her name is Bess!), going thru an Electro-Harmonix “Holy Grail” Reverb pedal, not too wet, and coming out of a Blackstar Fly 3. This is a fun Quintet "Almighty God" in the Duke Ellington's "Second Sacred Concert" with a lovely combination of amateur musicians, hired-in professionals, and professional instrumentalists that toured with the great one in the Duke Ellington Band, conducted by Stephen Michael Smith, and performed at the Unitarian Universalist Church at Shelter Rock in Manhassett, Long Island. Vocalists are tenor Josh Sanders, alto Leah Wool, sopranos Farah Chandu and Meagan Brus, with Brace Negron as bass.This one was a treat! Hope you enjoy!

This is the rough draft first take of a little ditty I wrote, and I am still fiddling with the song, but I am proud of the outcome so far. Recorded using my Iphone's Voice Record Pro app: making do while I wait for better recording gear to come in the mail. Played through a Fender Classic series 60's reissue MIM Strat with lacquer finish (her name is Lucy!), going thru an Electro-Harmonix “Holy Grail” Reverb pedal, not too wet, and coming out of a Blackstar Fly 3, then some light EQ added later.
