A winter musical tale.  Inspired on Russian fairy-tale of Snegurochka, the Snow Maiden. who as the daughter of Spring the Beauty and Father Frost, she yearns for the companionship of mortal humans. She grows to like a shepherd named Lel, but her heart is unable to know love. Her mother takes pity and gives her this ability, but as soon as she falls in love, her heart warms and she melts. 

A powerful story with many versions, some as movies, operas, picture books and ballet adaptations, one with incidental music by Master Tchaikovsky in 1873. Since 20th century, she is know as the soul of the New Year, a very popular character.

This orchestral work has some instrumental elements taken from Russian folk, but also recall the sound of some Russian classical masterpieces

"The Splendour of Guanyin" is a sweet instrumental song composed essentially with many sounds from chinese traditional music, but with an orchestral treatment.

Guanyin is commonly known as the Goddess of Mercy, and she is venerated in china and many other asian countries and oriental religions with others names, and she represents the compassion like Virgin Mary in Catholicism.

This short theme is like a lullaby, and it is easy to imagine a maternal deity taking care of all her children from their suffering

A classic guitar join to the orchestra, leading together a sweet and enigmatic melody. Orpheus, a poet with a divine talent for the music, chant and lyre, went to the underworld after the death of his wife Eurydice - a nymph from the woods- and secured her release from the dead, but lost her because he failed to obey the condition that he must not look back at her until they had reached the world of the living.

There is a hero inside everyone. Serve makes us heroes. Parenting makes us heroes. True love makes us heroes.

Heroica  is the first orchestrated theme by E.E. Pernalete Bracho. Composed in 2010, this symphonic piece lead us to legendary times, where the battle between good and evil for a fairer world isn't very different today.

Its melody goes from intense rhythmic drums to delicate and contrasting passages. Maybe, the strings and french horns are the stars, but the whole orchestra provides an  inspiring dynamism. And this theme is thinked to inspire.

We can all be heroes. The key is to understand what really matters in life, away from the superficiality and selfishness.

Ananda's Chant

After his fall, Icarus seeks forgiveness from underworld's gods  and fly away again. A symphonic fantasy beyond the myth

According to greek mythology, Icarus, son of the builder of the Crete's labyrinth, Daedalus, was imprisoned with his father in a tower by the king of the island, Minos. Having escaped from their stone prison, they couldn't get away to far because the close watch at all routes by sea and land imposed by the monarch.

So, Daedalus made wings for himself and the young Icarus, with feathers, thread and wax. Both flew with the invention, but the father advised his son not to fly too high because sun heat would melt the wax, nor too low because the sea foam would wet the wings and couldn't fly.

Once away from captivity, Icarus decided go up to get to paradise. The wax of his wings melted and lost the feathers, so that the young reckless fell to the sea. The bereaved parent, offered his wings to the god Apollo.

"Icarus Reborn" is an extension of the story, after Icarus fall. With the first piano chord, we are in the exact moment when Icarus hit the water and dies. The solo violins and cellos describe how his body sink into sea. Then the orchestra tells us how the soul of this man enters the underworld, expiating the guilt of his pride and recklessness, begging for another chance to join his beloved father, asking for a second chance to the afterlife's gods. Finally, when he get forgiveness, Icarus rises from the waters with new wings forged by the gods, and rises to the heaven, now wiser, conscious that in the world of the living, who doesn't listen advices, do not get old.

In times of chaos, a rite to forgotten deities would give hope to mankind. A neoclassical symphony

It is a neoclassical symphonic work with intense emotional content, a very defined melody and varied countermelodies in a dizzying time, evoking hectic times and kingdoms in chaos, but with an underlying sense of hope. It was composed in 1995 by E. E. Bracho Pernalete, and orchestrated in 2012. Divided into two movements, this composition is mostly fast, where strings and percussion are primarily responsible for bringing the pace almost all of the piece, mutating from a 4/4 at the beginning of the play to a 3/4 dance tempo, which prevails in the most part of the work. However, it has quieter passages that do not lose intensity and drama. For its part, the melody uses the most flexible interaction between instrumental voices, mainly from families of winds, but in a fight orchestrated harmoniously.

       Toned in B minor almost entirely, the symphony begin intriguingly in the first part "Revelation", reaching an impressive introduction to the main theme of the work,  with significant variations that appear along the piece, that actually serves as arrival  port of the different paths followed in its bars, ending at the starting point to close the first movement.  Then "Meditation", its second movement, opens with a canon calling for calm, and then gradually lead an accelerando at an inevitably "illumination", taking up the main melody and rhythm of the first half of the work, and then ending with another canon, much more intense, leading to a climax.

Eduardo Enrique Bracho Pernalete is a venezuelan composer musician, engineer and lawyer, born on November 2, 1977 in Maracaibo, Zulia. He began studying music in his childhood, and at 18 years old had composed more than 40 songs. By 1995 he was part of the band Texere as keyboardist, and later he founded and directed Spectro, an musical group in which he played guitar, bass and keyboards. In 2003 he retired from stages, dedicated to the composition alone. In late 2000's he specializes in orchestation, and his music turn to symphonic genre. Espectronova is the name of his studio and its music business firm, created in 2010.

Espectronova es el nombre de su estudio y de su firma comercial artística, creada en 2010.
