June is written about my dear old nan that passed away a while back.
She was trapped in an air raid shelter when she was a kid and was almost struck by lightning when she was a bit older. This gave her crippling anxiety (as it would to any of us) and therefore wasn’t much of a fan of going out

Older came about after I visited June in the care home she was in a few months back.
As I looked around I could see people who have had such rich and full lives and nobody knows.
People sat on their phones as their loved ones sit in silence, probably screaming inside.
I thought to myself, this is going to happen to all of us, as we get older we start ticking off the things we’ll never do. It’s important to remember the fragility of life.

Brad's musical journey began with a childhood fascination for instruments, evolving into a diverse artistic voyage spanning DJing, producing, finding sounds and creating vinyl releases. However, this journey has also been marked by a lifetime of trauma. Nevertheless, his nan's passing from dementia became a transformative moment. Her departure provided the catalyst he needed to find the confidence to put himself out there.

Amidst his personal struggles, music emerged as a powerful outlet, offering solace and a means to express his deepest emotions. It was during this time that Brad's friend, Ted Groves, rekindled his love for the piano and the power of songwriting. Ted's inspiration led Brad to practice every day and strive to improve his craft.

With his EP, inspired by his nan's memory and fuelled by Ted's support, Brad's heartfelt melodies and poignant lyrics speak to the soul, inviting listeners into a world of raw emotions. Through his music, he honours his nan's legacy while embarking on a journey of self-discovery, proving the healing power of music.
