I am an Acoustic Songster that writes from the heart of experience. Believing that you have to live it before you can spit it has been my writing mantra ever since I put the pen to the page. Whether it be poetry or song,  if you fake it, sooner or later the truth will stroll on by and break it.  I am influenced by the music which has kept my fire going and helped me evolve as a songwriter as well as a human being. Influences and inspirations include but aren't limited to: Bob Dylan, Tim Armstrong of Operation Ivy and RANCID, Bob Marley with or without The Wailers, The Replacements, Social Distortion, James Taylor, The Violent Femmes, Sublime with Bradley Nowell and all of the countless songwriters, poets, pranksters, gangsters, scenesters, road dogs, roadies and stonies that I've had the privilege to have shared time and creative spark with along the way. These are the ones that have influenced and inspired me the most. It's hard to see eye to eye with someone when you're looking up from the crowd to the stage. I do find a different inspiration from the songs of people I may never meet though. Although I started out as predominantly a frontman/vocalist, I have grown into the Singer/Songwriter seat pretty naturally. Catch ya on the flipside! - Brad Bash
