Honestly, I’d use a Wishing Star to wish I wouldn’t even be here
Got a whole lotta Pokéballs strapped to your side
Yet none of what’s inside could save your hide
You’re so lonesome? I can’t imagine why
Mimikyu’s prolly got more friends than this guy
Kid who’s mysterious, probably hiding sadness
Am I supposed to think that makes you a badass?
Because to me? All I see?
Is the most stereotypical gym leader in this whole series
I dance with the dregs hiding in the cracks
You lack the confidence to take off the mask
Considering you’re not even in both games
I, too, would probably try to literally save face

I'll admit, I--I was weary you’d spit something more dreary and searing
I was left wanting, heh... I suppose A-Pier-annces are deceiving
You--uhh, might want to fix that posture
You’ll drop the mic that way
I spook the goofs who dare to challenge me early on in the game
You do it but worse…? Grand...
Let me guess, MCR is your favorite band?
And I’m sorry but that haircut? It’s a crime
I’ll take your hefty defeat On the Side
You’re monotone and monochrome
I thought being the odd one was my role
‘Cause I wouldn’t say you’d be the pick of the litter
Just a broody cretin overshadowed by his sister

Look at you! You’re already slumped over in defeat!
Over a HUNDRED masks? You’re actually a creep
Seeing dead people’s your big plot twist, all because of an accident
How ironic your biggest interest is most likely a myth
Go hang out in a cemetery or something you gangly little rat
You tried to fake being larger than life and you even failed at that
But still can’t find a proper way to up the spooky and lay off the edge
Your flow lacks a pulse, but what’d I expect? You’re used to playing with the dead

The seventh Gym Leader doesn’t even have it

So, it's official: I'm playing TrotCon this year! I was originally planning on holding this cover back until then, but I haven't released a new MLP cover in a looooong time, so I decided to release it early.

I decided to go with a more "power ballad" feel for this one -- not as heavy or energetic as many of my other covers, but hard-hitting in a different way.
