Platinum clouds open up

A peaceful glow in your cosmic eyes

Then sometimes my desire
Drags me into the fire
Climbing higher in my sin
At the top of my ladder
I just keep growing sadder
Until you show me where I am

When I’m sitting on the moon
Your starry eyes find my heart
When I wander from You
Your face shows me the way home

Swim in a circle of souls
Here in the body we know
You’re revealing your cosmic eyes
But twisted waves kill emotion
Like a train in the ocean
Straining against the pulling tide

Closing in on the distance
On my track of resistance
I’m caught in your galactic gaze
Sin is like a concussion
Satisfies me with nothing
Then your Spirit reveals my haze

Stand Firm (Nov2020)

Grew up in various parts of Washington State. Went to WSU - started messing with guitar. Post-college, started a band with friends in Seattle called Springchamber - cut 2 albums. Got married, kids - our best co-creations. Became Music / Arts director for a couple church plants - Another album. Played professional blackjack a few years before moving to Evergreen, CO - recorded 14 songs, called the album Prayers of the Saints; but wanted more drums, some videos. Started with Sing Your People. Back in the NW to fine-tune, re-release each song - Lord Willing. Writing more music, memoirs - writing a Travel Log with the Spirit of Jesus.
