The other day I listened to a podcast about the fallout from none of the Qanon predictions about the election coming true. It was sort of heartbreaking. Thousands of believers tuning in to the election, then the inauguration waiting for 'it' to happen. And when 'it' didn't happen, they either scattered, now disillusioned with the movement that lead to nothing or they seemed to double down on the mass delusion, like an end-times cult postponing the apocalypse because they somehow got the math wrong again. I find it all deeply disturbing, sad and honestly, pretty pathetic.
