I battled to find some appropriate radio chatter recordings for inclusion. After some searching liveATC.net was a happy discovery - they claim to have real-time coverage of different aerodromes around the world.

At conception, my aim was to solely use the Autogun instrument of FLStudio to very straightforwardly transition from high-synth-to-high-synth sound. When the lead sound came into it's own it was a very fleeting and light feel overall - so the thought of flying seemed appropriate.

The serious side of the production work is sometimes a bit of a grind. To keep things interesting this time round, I 'tag named' the main versions of the music with words associated with a pilot getting an aircraft into the air: Advisories, Flight Plan, Clearance, Checklist, Taxi, Threshold, Full power, Rotation.
