Asher Roth is a big inspiration of mine, he's been one of my favorite rappers ever since Asleep in the Bread Aisle way back in 2009. When he announced RetroHash and came out with Tangerine Girl I basically had it on repeat, it's just the catchiest and chillest tune. This track is from way back in April, where I created it as a part of a friends film. A good friend of mine was working on a film about a writer struggling with writers block and procrastination, and as a part of the soundtrack I made this song. I felt I could relate deeply to the character, and because of that I challenged myself to write lyrics that related to myself as well as the character.
