"30 F*CKIN' YEARS!", someone shouted as this momentous occasion came to a close. 30 years of Moontribe Full Moon Gatherings -- just WOW. Such a wonderful gift to be a part of this unique community of artists, musicians, creators, dancers, lovers, family and friends, young and old. Words cannot describe what it has meant to me, and means to me to be able to participate in the "intense, but dancefloor friendly" magic that has been such a huge part of, and impact upon, my life. I am deeply grateful for each and every one of you and wish for everlasting peace and joy in yours. Thank you, Moontribe Collective. I love you.

Here is my sunrise set from day 2, a 3+ hour journey of groovy psy tunes to get your juices flowing and your brain tingling. I hope you enjoy it. Due to an issue with the original recording, I decided that I wanted to share this with you anyway, so I re-recorded it, and threw in a couple bonus tracks that I had wanted to play but wasn't able to the first time around. Live@MoontribeJuly2023-PheuZen/TMT Hybrid

It's safe to say that Desert Dwellers are the most OG desert DJs that we know. In fact, Treavor Moontribe was one of the founding members of Moontribe Collective, the original community of California desert dancers who've been gathering under the full moon since 1993. We owe a ton of our inspiration to Moontribe and we might even go so far to say there wouldn't be a Desert Hearts without our founding fathers of the desert scene.

While we've had Treavor Moontribe absolutely kill it for us in the past, it's his ultra psychedelic Desert Dwellers project with partner Amani Friend that really made international waves. Predominantly a downtempo project, we first heard about a super rare techno / tech house set performed by Desert Dwellers through our partner Kristoff. And he just wouldn't stop raving about it...

Honestly we had absolutely no idea what to expect from a techno set by Desert Dwellers other than the good word of one of our partners. Their set was the one true wildcard on our lineup and it ended up being one of the most radical sets of the weekend. With the first 1.5 hours of the set being all original material, Desert Dwellers pulled off one of the best sets we've ever heard at Desert Hearts.

Closed this with some of my favorite deep tunes. Open air with epic desert views, one of my favorite scenes of amazing people. Sunlight on our faces. One of my favorite sound systems. Brad was born a music lover. By high school he was DJing backyard parties in Long Beach and had already become addicted to the latest 12" vinyl releases. His love and passion for cutting edge electronic music has not abated since that time.

Now a veteran of the West Coast rave community since 1992, Brad continues to perform regularly in the U.S. and Canada. His interest in the environment, yoga, and his philosophical nature are conveyed in his musical choices. He can energize any crowd with his seamless mixing, whether in a warehouse, intimate club, or out in the open desert. Brad defies classification by experimenting with a variety of musical genres, often cutting between techno, minimal, tribal, progressive, acid house, and breaks. He blends many intricate soundscapes to create the flow and funkiness that is essential Brad. His eclectic mixes take the listener on a musical journey where time and space seem to disappear. Using the language of music to unite and celebrate the earth and humanity is Brad's goal. Brad has been a resident DJ with Southern California's legendary Moontribe Collective since 1996.
