This recording is a fun, non-serious freestyle improvisation on a $88000 Shigeru Kawai grand piano, a beautiful instrument with great tuning in this recording.  The date of recording is November 15, 2013.

My piano improvisations range in style from classical to early 20th century, to more contemporary harmonic styles.

In developing my improvisations I usually begin by creating a short intro section of music which captures my interest and I wish to develop further. This usually becomes the basis for the improvisation but I use different techniques to develop my improvisations.

Some of my classical piano influences include Chopin, Ravel, Scriabin, Rachmaninov, Bach, and others.
