I started off reciting lyrics in the school lunchroom from Bone Thugs N Harmony, Twista & others. I remember not wanting to just rap their lyrics so I'd rap it as fast as I could to display my own talent. Around the age of 12 or 13 I started writing my own lyrics. At 14 I was incarcerated for assault & stolen vehicles as well as possession. During this time I continued to write & an artist by the name of Slim Shady would hit the radio opening the door to something I never thought possible. Once being released & returning home my father had a PC built with FL Studio 2.0 & Magix Recording Studio. I would immediately begin making my own beats & recording my first album titled "Lyrics of The Mind". With ten tracks total I was able to sell the CDs locally out of a friends car. Soon after that I started uploading music to the platform Soundclick under the name Smoothedoutproductions. You can find some of my earliest music there to this day but not the Lyrics of the mind album which I have no copies of. I have heard people say they were able to hold onto it themselves but I have not found one myself. Over the years following I continued to make music and you can find some of my other beats & songs on the sites Reverbnation & Beat stars under the name Smoovedoutproductions. My Life & the struggles that came with it which you will hear throughout "TheJournalz" album series was full of ups and downs and winding up with possessions charges & felony probation. Then I learned I would be a father. I moved out of my hometown & went to Springfield Missouri where I lived for five years working and taking care of my two boys. After moving back to my hometown and continuing to work and advancing my career & buying my first home,my world fell apart with me and my kids mom parting ways. I lost myself during that time & I lost everything and ended up homeless with nothing.During this time the songs "Savage Judgement" which you can find on YouTube & "Struggle Is Real" were recorded as well as countless other songs but once again Found myself incarcerated. After being released from incarceration I began to rebuild my life finding a new line of employment and the would be mother of my third child. After five years and re-buying the home I sold to a friend of mine once again everything fell apart and this is where the story is still being written.
